Our transnational meetings: where partners from across Europe plan, learn and dream together. 🌍

📍 Nicosia, Cyprus · March 2024

Kick-off meeting

At the first face-to-face meeting, all partners brought their expertise and commitment to jointly develop a mental health prevention and intervention programme for the benefit of youth workers and young people.

A shared project is more than a list of activities: it is built from relationships, meetings and dreams that let us create the future we believe in. In Nicosia, the partners started building this house of experience together.

‘To achieve great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe.’Anatole France

Open dialogue, and attention to each other’s capacities and resources, will lead to the structured promotion of youth resilience and wellbeing in the five countries involved: Poland, Italy, Lithuania, Bulgaria and Cyprus.

2nd transnational meeting

Over four inspiring days in the mountains of Bansko, partners from across Europe came together to move the project forward. Together, they focused on developing tools that empower youth workers, support young people’s mental health, and foster resilience and wellbeing.

With every discussion, exchange of ideas and collaborative plan, the team took another step towards a future where youth resilience and wellbeing are at the heart of our communities.

What was planned next

  • Work package 2: a comprehensive toolkit and handbook for youth workers, with practical resources, and the “Mental Health Stories” video series.
  • Work package 3: a youth workers’ manual for the Better2Gether meetings and video guidelines to help young people stay mentally and physically healthy.
  • Work package 5: maintaining the dissemination and exploitation strategy for wider impact.

3rd transnational meeting

Partners met in Italy for the transnational project meeting (TPM) and spent a really productive few days together. 🤝

  • Work package 3: checked the progress of the manual, videos and website, aligned on video production and final edits, and planned the next steps for dissemination.
  • Work package 4: a big focus on preparing the training of youth workers and the upcoming workshops and peer meetings with young people across countries. 🌱

Lots of planning, clear decisions and good energy for what’s next!
