P5 - WalkTogether (WT)
P5: Association WalkTogether (WT) is created to serve as a learning organization that gathers trainers, youth and social workers, youth policy makers, experts, and volunteers with different levels of competences to actively be involved in the creation of civic activities with European dimension and with benefits for their local community.
The focus of the organisation is:
- To promote equal opportunities and access to healthcare to people with fewer opportunities, particular attention is given to
hard-to-reach groups and people living in remote areas; - Raise awareness on health topics;
- To promote healthy way of living among young by fostering regular physical activities, healthy habits and psychological
support of people with minor disabilities; - Recognition of non-formal education and youth work by the society and the state.
- Promoting intercultural dialogue through different initiatives and Programmes (Erasmus +, Europe for citizens, Creative
Europe, etc.). - Initiatives that develop opportunities for mutual understanding, intercultural learning solidarity, societal engagement and
volunteering at national level. - Supporting projects promoted by transnational partnerships and networks directly involving citizens.
Our mission is to motivate and empower people to play a vital role in their own development and well-being as well as in that of their communities, especially in view of the digital and green transformation. We believe that social development is about improving the well-being of every individual in society and removing all the barriers so they can reach their full potential and navigate toward their dreams and aspirations with confidence and dignity.
